Join us on a trip to Pollok Country Park!

YOU MUST BOOK A TICKET TO ATTEND THIS TRIP – this trip is only for students currently living in UofG accommodation.

Tickets go on sale Friday 15th May at 10am 🎉🎟️

Join us for a relaxing and fun day out at Pollok Country Park, one of Glasgow’s most beautiful green spaces, on 3rd June 2026!

The bus will leave from campus at 10:00am and head to the park.

Throughout the day, you’ll have plenty of time to explore everything the park has to offer. You can wander along peaceful woodland trails, visit the Burrell Collection, spot the famous Highland cattle, or simply relax and enjoy the fresh air with friends.

It’s the perfect chance to unwind outdoors, enjoy a picnic with fellow students, and explore one of Glasgow’s most scenic parks. 🌿🧺

The bus will depart from campus. Specific details of the trip will be forwarded via email to everyone who purchases a ticket.

Pollok Park is in the heart of the Southside of Glasgow. There are plenty of transport links to get you back to your halls but if you're worried about travelling back, please get in touch with ResLife (reslifecommunity@glasgow.ac.uk) and we can help you plan your journey.

Things you should bring along:

- Student ID

- Water

- Comfortable footwear

Depending on the weather, here are a list of things you might need:

- Waterproof jacket

- Sunscreen
