If you're planning to cycle back and forward to campus then we've got good news for you! The University has got lots of secure, bicycle parking stations that you can access and keep your bike safely locked away when you're at your studies.
Whether you're going to studying at Gilmorehill, Garscube or Dumfries campus there will be facilities available for you. To find out more about what and where everything is located just head to UofG Sustainability's dedicated cycling website.
Access controlled bike hangers
The University has also been busy installing secure, lockable bike hangars at both Gilmorehill and Garscube. Each hanger has space for six bikes, is app-operated and, most importantly, is free to use for all UofG students and staff.
To get access to a secure hangar:
1️⃣ Email the UofG Travel Planning Team from your University email address and register.
2️⃣ The team will aim to register you within three working days and send your login details for the ‘okey app’.
3️⃣ Access the app and activate your access.
